QA Auxiliary Report Purpose

Auxiliaries in Makersite are Product Groups mapped automatically by Makersite as an additional input to Processes which output components imported in your IPC or FMD. These PGs represent the impacts and costs associated with manufacturing - typically the consumption of resources associated with making a product, such as electricity.

Before moving forward with LCA, compliance or costing analysis, you need to make sure that input from auxiliaries is correct. The QA Report - Auxiliaries will list all of the Processes and Auxiliaries that have been auto-mapped upon import, giving a nice overview of items you need to verify.

Run Auxiliary QA Report

  1. From the home page, go to Makersite Apps > Business > Pivot Manager > QA Report - Auxiliaries.

  2. Set the Product field to the Product Group the report will be based on.

  3. Optionally, select Run in the background and save. In this case, your report will be queued and you will get an e-mail with a link once it's ready.

  4. Once the Product is set, click Create in the bottom right corner of the Information and Tools panel.

Your report loads on the page. The Processes are shown in the report as grey rows. Auxilliaries are marked in orange.
