Product Properties Importer Purpose
This importer is used to extend the Product Group with additional properties not included in the BOM import. Additional properties in Makersite include chemical data, costing data, and the use of energy (renewable and non-renewable).
Prerequisites
Your BOM must be imported. Product Properties Importer only updates existing Products, it cannot generate new ones.
Make sure that you correctly prepare your file in advance. You need to identify the object to be updated using at least one of the following:
rid, Product Group name, or Part Number. If you use more than one parameter, the combination you enter must point to an existing Makersite object.

Import Product Properties
Select Additional Makersite Tools > Importer from the pop-up window.
Select Product Properties Importer from the list.
Drag and drop the file onto the Makersite page or click Upload File to open the upload dialog.
When the import job is done, your Product Group should be updated with properties in your file. Check the Analyze page of your PG to confirm.
