Aggregation of your Upstream Data

Upstream emissions are aggregated with the following logic:

Total of production stage and distribution stage of the components are summed up. For this aggregation to work, the total production stage excluding biogenic or including biogenic fields have to be present. If one of the components lacks data, aggregation can not be performed.

If you have a component group (sub-component category) you need to save the upstream emissions for this group separately. Once you save the group's total upstream emissions, it will show up as Aggregated and you can continue with the Save Upstream button to save and lock your values in the BoM.

Your BOM version is saved and locked against further editing. This serves the secure and unambiguous traceability of shared PCF values.
