After the migration from SiGREEN to Mattermaps, API access must be updated.

Customers can no longer use their old SiGREEN API credentials or old API base paths. To continue using the APIs, customers need to recreate their technical users in Mattermaps and update their API configuration using the new Mattermaps developer documentation.

Why can’t I access the APIs after the migration from SiGREEN?

After the migration to Mattermaps, old SiGREEN API credentials are no longer valid.

Customers need to create new technical users in Mattermaps and replace their old credentials with the newly generated credentials.

You need to recreate the technical user in Mattermaps and update your integration with the new credentials.

How do I create a new technical user in Mattermaps?

To create a new technical user:

  1. Log in to the Mattermaps UI as a Company Admin.
  2. Click the gear icon in the top-right corner to open Company Configuration.
  3. Go to API Management in the left navigation.
  4. Click + Create technical user.
  5. Enter a name and description for the technical user.
  6. Select the APIs the user needs access to.
  7. Submit the form.
  8. Copy and securely store the generated credentials.

Who can create technical users?

Technical users can be created by a Company Admin in the Mattermaps UI.

If you do not see the API Management option, check whether you have the correct admin permissions.
