Introduction

First setup a Forecast Scenario..

A Forecast Scenario data object in Makersite, is the container for building forecast models based on your product data & processes. A scenario is centred around any Site or Company in Makersite, where the forecast results represent a measure of production at that particular facility, over a period of time e.g. kilograms of product produced per year.

Within scenarios, Forecast Actions can be created, this is were any changes or adjustments to the Site or Companies processes can be set, to investigate what the change in environmental impact will be in future.

Forecast Actions can be created as their own standalone data objects in Makersite, & can be applied to multiple Forecast Scenarios. This allows wider investigation of a proposed process change across multiple Sites or Companies e.g. if the same product or component you produce is manufactured in multiple Sites in different geographies, changes to this process can be calculated & compared.

The results of a Forecast Scenario with Actions can be reviewed using the Scenario Forecast Report.
